Breaking news today... and I believe its the news that many have been longing for... seemingly forever.

White House Secratary Scott McClellan has said, that President Bush, Vice president Cheney, and Senior advisor Karl Rove, lied and gave him and others false information concerning the coverup and CIA leak, involving Valerie Plame. Its not surprising to us that already know something went on, especially after the president abruptly commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby...even before thee was one. Ladys and Gentlemen, my fellow Jregers.....This president's ship has just been shot another hole and this one seems like it may just be the one that sinks it entirely. its still developing as far as fallout, but i can tell you now if our Democratic Senate and Congress acts and acts immediately, then this president will be faced not only with impeachment charges, ultimately....he and Cheney both will be facing charges, which indictments will assure finalize an impeachment. This president along with all that he has done to america, should resign immediately and save this country the embarrasment and the distraction that surely will now take place.

It's surprising what this bunch has gotten away with. Unfortunately, I'm not sure anything will be done before the '08 election. The Plame case will forever be a spur in my heel...it was always cut and dried for us. What did come as a surprise was Scotty writing this in his book. Here is a link (Truthout and Video) if people need to catch up with the story. Full coverage and extra links...pretty much everything anybody would want to know.

Robert Parry: Bush's Plame-gate Cover-up

“The most powerful leader in the world had called upon me to speak on his behalf and help restore credibility he lost amid the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq,” McClellan said. “So I stood at the White House briefing room podium in front of the glare of the klieg lights for the better part of two weeks and publicly exonerated two of the senior-most aides in the White House: Karl Rove and Scooter Libby.

“There was one problem. It was not true.

“I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the Vice President, the President’s chief of staff, and the President himself.”

McClellan’s comments were part of a press release from his publisher regarding McClellan’s memoir, which is scheduled to reach the book stores next April.
