A sad day for Wendys. I know this isn’t really topical, but considering the impact Wendys has had in John and Elizabeth Edwards story I thought I would post.

The very first Wendys restaurant is closing tomorrow. It is located in downtown Columbus Ohio. I’m so sentimental, I really hate when this sort of history is lost.

Ahhh! This is so sad, I too hate losing history. All of us connect JRE and Elizabeth to Wendy's, it's very sentimental.

During the campaign, my brother said I should remind the Edwards that the original Wendys was right here in Columbus and they should visit it. Now , I wish I had. It would have been a nice photo op !

Both of the Wendy's closed in my town. But to be honest DD, the management changed after Dave died. They didn't enforce any work ethic in the employees at the ones in my town. The service was abysmal, product mediocre, and the place was always dirty. So, in my view, it was time for them to go, and obviously, the customers who quit going there, thought the same.
