From the interview televised tonight on 60 Minutes:

[quote]Stahl: Can I ask you about Ronnie Earle? What is your real charge here? You’re, you seem to be suggesting he’s doing a whole investigation just to get Republicans. Is that really what your charge is?

DeLay: I know CBS likes to create news. But we’re here to talk about children…

DeLay ignored Stahl's question, and Rep. Mark Foley of Florida stepped in: "We'll ask those questions and answer them later. … We're not talking about Mr. DeLay today."

Stahl said: "Well, we are. I'd like to know when you're going to answer the questions?"

"Thank you very much," said DeLay. "You ought to be ashamed of yourself."

Leslie really confronted DeLay in her attempt to get him to answer questions about the charges he is facing in Texas. His posse rescued him from Leslie's questioning. :x

Mmmm, CBS fights back yet again, good for her and good for them.

CBS, yes! But if DeLay goes down it will be because of the efforts of Ronnie Earle - someone from DeLay's own backyard. Isn't that the way it should be? Leslie Stahl is truly performing like an investigative reporter - how courageous she is - HOORAY for her!!

And as this 60 Minutes story said, Earle has prosecuted around 15 elected officials - 12 were Democrats and 3 were Republicans. So, DeLay's contention that all of this is "political" - well, whatever floats your boat, Mr. DeLay. :!:

Won't be long and Mr DeeeeeeeeeeeeeLAAAAAAAAAAAAAy will be banging rocks till Mr.Bush pardons him on his way out of the White House.

Someone is bound to spill the beans, when it looks like their going to prison and have to kiss the wife and kids `good-bye`, they'll talk. Just like "WaterGate", they'll be falling over each other to be the first to turn states evidence. Hoping of a shorter sentence.

We should start seeing Bushco and the Repugs pulling away from him very soon.
