Some joke. But I think this is what the repugs are talking about behind closed doors. World War 3. How are we to stop these madmen if the Dems in D.C. don't stand up to the `NEO-CONS`. Lately the repugs sure have been `re-tracting` comments.

DALLAS - A congressman who raised eyebrows with recent remarks about personally wanting to drop a nuclear bomb on Syria now says he was joking.

The Feb. 19 remarks by Rep. Sam Johnson, `R-Texas`, at a church pancake breakfast were first reported this week in Roll Call. The Capitol Hill newspaper reported it had heard a recording of the talk made by someone in attendance.

Not only was that mighty `un-christian` of him, but pretty darn ignorant as well. The Middle East is not such a large place that one of our nukes wouldn't irradiate our allies as well. And what has Syria done to us to warrant such talk? Glad to know this is the caliber of representatives that the Repugs have to offer.
