OMG, I am shocked! :shock: On that secret tape recording, George W admits he used marajuana in his younger days. If you think about it, this explains a lot about his diminished brain capacity. I guess Bush actually did inhale! LOL. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Oh he's done a lot more than marijuana. Although his record has been sealed, expunged or somehow destroyed, it's also widely believed he was arrested for cocaine, possibly for dealing coke. Some have theorized that this why he was AWOL from the TANG.

I think he was born with average thinking, nothing special, but also nothing less. There have been plenty of intellectuals who experimented with drugs, and in many instances, did not affect their thinking. W does think (with advisors' help) beyond the box, but I find it sad that he does it under the wrongful influence of the need for oil profits, to seek revenge about the attempted murder on his dad, and the need to be more imperialist, as opposed to the true marks of freedom, where every person who wishes to vote, wants her/his vote to truly be tabulated properly. But he's been bought.

I think George Bush might be much improved if he starting lighting up again. Marijuana does not usually induce violent behavior.

I have to admit that while I might disagree with his reasons, I do respect his willingness to stand up to the press and refuse to answer these types of questions. For the most part, they have little relevence to much of anything...especially as our present day politicians are those that grew up during and after the 60's. Experimentation is such a normal part of adolescent growth and development that its completely unremarkable to say that anyone indulged in whatever the flavor of the day was.

Now, if someone has or had evidence as to recent use or use while running or holding office, that would be different...but just asking to satisfy curiosity is inappropriate. Since there has been talk of Bush's use of cocaine at later dates, and in light of his admitted problems with alcohol, questions about cocaine use might be considered appropriate....but not the general "did you smoke pot and/or did you inhale".

"Driving that train, high on cocaine..."

Not a good idea, Casey Jones...or W...or whomever...

"train" = USA

JERRY!

Now there's a man who did probably way more drugs than W ever did who would have made a MUCH better President. Then again, Jerry was probably already doing what was just exactly perfect for him. biggrin.gif
